The day after the All Star Game is always the worst day of the year because no baseball is on. We have to wait 2 more days until the Cubs play their next game against the Houston Astros on Friday. The one thing that is happening today is the reaction to La Russa's choice to bench Pujols the whole game. As I said yesterday, Pujols is not happy with La Russa's choice and said he wouldn't of shown up if he knew he wasn't going to play. If the Cardinals were in first place would La Russa have done the same thing? I think not.
